BRADFORD MEDICAL SUPPLY (BMS)
Rental Policies
Credit cards will be charged the day that the rental is reserved. MONTHLY or WEEKLY rental durations will start the day the item is delivered.
Once BMS recieves your order and charges your credit card for your rental unit; that unit is reserved for YOU and the timeframe you specified. BMS policies can not and will not make this item available for anyone else for that specified time frame. This means if you change your mind for whatever reason and don't want to rent the unit BMS has lost the opportunity to rent the unit to someone else for that timeframe and wil be unable to realize the revenue generated from that rental. This is the reason for our policy that "ALL WEEKLY AND MONTHLY RENTAL SALES ARE FINAL! NO EXCEPTIONS!" The licensee's card will be debited accordingly.
DAILY rentals are for 8 hours. The equipment must be picked up or delivered in the morning and returned or delivered back to the store before closing. 24 HOUR rentals may be returned to the store 24 hours later at the same time it was picked up or delivered. If the item is returned late or beyond the agreed upon rental period your card will be debited accordingly. WEEKLY rentals CAN NOT be converted to MONTHLY rentals. For MONTHLY rentals BMS will grant the licensee 24 hrs to determine if the monthly rental item suits your needs. If the licensee is dissatisfied for ANY reason the licensee WILL be charged only the WEEKLY rate. The licensee's card will be debited accordingly.
Bay Area Local Delivery Fees
$50 fee is added for rental delivery and pick-ups for less than 25 miles,
$90 fee is added for rental delivery and pick-ups between 25 and 50 miles
$125 fee is added for rental delivery and pick-ups between 50 and 100 miles
$180 fee is added for rental delivery and pick-ups greater than 100 miles.
Customer Late for Delivery
Due to our daily delivery schedule BMS CAN NOT wait for more than 30 minutes for a customer past the agreed upon appointment time on the agreement contract. Waiting longer than that impacts deliveries to other BMS customers and costs us valuable operational time and money. If BMS has to wait longer than 30 minutes than the time agreed to by the customer written on the contract we reserve the right to charge the customer up to 1/2 of the delivery charge as an additional fee.
Customer No Show
Due to our daily delivery schedule BMS CAN NOT wait
for more than 30 minutes for a customer past the agreed upon appointment time
on the rental agreement contract. Customers who are not available at the time
of the delivery and give no prior notice will be deemed and as a "NO SHOW" and
be subject to the following charges:
1. Daily or 24 Hour Deliveries - An additional delivery
charge equal to the original charge and the cost of the daily
or 24 hour rental.
2. Weekly and Monthly Deliveries - An additional delivery
charge equal to the original charge.
BMS will make every effort to re-deliver
the item for the same day if our schedule will allow it. BMS will make every
effort to accomodate customers that give us a timely notice to a change in their
schedules. If we can not accomodate the change in a clients schedule for the
delivery day, the delivery will be rescheduled for the following day with an
additional delivery charge.
