Cleaning Policies

All of our rental medical equipment is thoroughly tested and cleaned and disinfected after every rental. They are cleaned to meet all local, city and state public health requirements. Our cleaning procedures available upon request. Please refer to our cleaning policies at the bottom of this page.

Bay Area Delivery Fees

Bradford Medical Supply delivery fees include delivery, setup of equipment, instruction on how to use the equipment, disassembly and pickup.

Rent-To-Buy

At Bradford Medical Supply you can rent our equipment and have the cost of that rental go towards your purchase of a used product.

Lift Chair Rental

Monthly rentals of a 325 LB capacity Comforter Lift Chair for $300 and $300 for a 375 LB capacity Monarch Lift Chair.

Hospital Bed Rental

Hospital Bed Rentals range in price from $300 a month for a Semi Electric Bed, $325 a month for a Full Electric Bed to $550 for monthly rental of a Bariatric Full Electric Bed.

Luxury Hospital Bed Rental

Luxury Hospital Bed Rentals are full sized beds that are wider (53") than the standard twin (30") size hospital beds and come with a innerspring instead of foam mattress. They range in price from $250 a week and $500 a month for a Semi Electric Bed and $275 a week and $550 a month for a Full Electric Bed

Electric Scooter Rental

Electric Scooter Rentals range in price from $130 for a 16 hr rental of a 3-wheel Phoenix Scooter to $457 for monthly rental of a Daytona 4 Wheel Scooter.

Power Wheelchair Rental

Power Wheelchair Rentals range in price from $90 for an 16 hr rental up to $300 for monthly rental of a Metro Power III Power Wheelchair.

Mobility Chair Rental

Mobility Chair Rentals range in price from $125 for a weekly rental and $250 for monthly rental of an Alante Rear Drive - Programmable 300 LB Capacity.

Walker Rental

Walker Rentals range in price for a basic walker from $20 a week to $75 a month for Nova Cruiser Deluxe walker (or its equivalent) with a seat and hand brakes.

Wheelchair Rental

Standard Wheelchair Rentals are $75 for a week and $120 for a month

Transport Chair Rental

Rentals are $120 for monthly rental of transport wheelchairs.

Wheelchair Ramp Rental

Wheelchair Access Ramp Rentals range in price from $60 for an 16 hr rental of a 5' SUITCASE® Ramp Classic Series to $200 for monthly rental of a 7' TRACK RAMP.

Knee Walker

Knee Walker Rentals are $175 for monthly rental.

HPL600 - Hoyer Heavy-Duty Power Patient Lifter - Lift Sling Sold Separately

Hoyer Lift Rentals range from 200 a week to $500 for monthly rental of a HPL600 - Hoyer Heavy-Duty Power Patient Lifter.

BRADFORD MEDICAL SUPPLY (BMS) Rent-To-Buy

At Bradford Medical Supply you have the option rent our equipment and have the cost of the rental go towards the purchase of that equipment.

The only stipulation is that the used equipment must meet the criterion to be used equipment. That is, it must be rented at least the number of time required to become used. (See the used equipment section for the number of times a particular piece of equipment is rented until it is deemed "used".) Newer pieces of equipment that do not meet the "used" criteria may be discounted at our discretion.

BRADFORD MEDICAL SUPPLY - Rental Policies

Credit cards will be charged the day that the rental is reserved. MONTHLY or WEEKLY rental duration will start the day the item is delivered.

Once BMS recedes your order and charges your credit card for your rental unit; that unit is reserved for YOU and the timeframe YOU specified. BMS policies can not and will not make this item available for anyone else for that specified time frame. This means if you change your mind for whatever reason and don't want to rent the unit BMS has lost the opportunity to rent the unit to someone else for that timeframe and will be unable to realize the revenue generated from that rental.

This is the reason for our policy that "ALL WEEKLY and MONTHLY RENTAL SALES ARE FINAL!". NO EXCEPTIONS! The licensee's card will be debited accordingly. WEEKLY rentals CAN NOT be converted to MONTHLY RENTALS or vice versa. The licensee's card will be adjusted accordingly. Credit cards will be charged the day that the rental is reserved. MONTHLY or WEEKLY rental duration will start the day the item is delivered.

DAILY rentals are for 16 hours. The equipment must be picked up or delivered in the morning and returned or delivered back to the store before closing. 2 DAY rentals may be returned to the store 48 hours later at the same time it was picked up or delivered. If the item is returned late or beyond the agreed upon rental period your card will be debited accordingly.

BRADFORD MEDICAL SUPPLY - Bay Area - Set Up, Deliveryand Pickup Fees

$50 fee is added for rental set up, delivery and pickups for less than 25 miles,

$90 fee is added for rental set up, delivery and pickups between 25 and 50 miles

$125 fee is added for rental set up, delivery and pickups between 50 and 100 miles

$180 fee is added for rental set up, delivery and pickups greater than 100 miles.

Due to our daily delivery schedule BMS CAN NOT wait for more than 30 minutes for a customer past the agreed upon appointment time on the agreement contract. Waiting longer than that impacts deliveries to other BMS customers and costs us valuable operational time and money. If BMS has to wait longer than 30 minutes than the time agreed to by the customer written on the contract we reserve the right to charge the customer up to 1/2 of the delivery charge as an additional fee.

BRADFORD MEDICAL SUPPLY - Cleaning Policies

Before any wheelchair, lift chair, recliners, electric scooter, power wheelchair, hospital bed or mobility equipment can be certified as acceptable for customer use, Bradford Medical Supply inspects, cleans, sanitizes, tests, and adjusts, if necessary, at the beginning and ending of each rental period. Bradford Medical Supply wheelchairs, lift chairs, recliners, electric scooters, power wheelchairs, hospital beds or mobility equipment undergoes regular maintenance and inspection to monitor wear and identify any items that require replacement. We employ this strict policy so our customers can rest assured that equipment rented from us will be safe, reliable, presentable, and in optimum working condition. Beyond our own strict maintenance policy, we maintain close relationships with our equipment manufacturers and distributors so our technicians are always aware of the latest advances in technology safety and maintenance procedures. Customer No Show

Due to our daily delivery schedule BMS CAN NOT wait for more than 30 minutes for a customer past the agreed upon appointment time on the rental agreement contract. Customers who are not available at the time of the delivery and give no prior notice will be deemed and as a "NO SHOW" and be subject to the following charges:

1. Daily or 24 Hour Deliveries - An additional delivery charge equal to the original charge and the cost of the daily or 24 hour rental.

2. Weekly and Monthly Deliveries - An additional delivery charge equal to the original charge.

BMS will make every effort to redeliver the item for the same day if our schedule will allow it. BMS will make every effort to accommodate customers that give us a timely notice to a change in their schedules. If we can not accommodate the change in a clients schedule for the delivery day, the delivery will be rescheduled for the following day with an additional delivery charge.
