Standard Hospital Beds

Standard twin size hospital beds (semi or full electric) come with foam or innerspring mattresses that fit on a 30" x 80" frame. Bariatric hospital beds support patients who weigh more than 300 pounds and can use foam mattresses that fit on a 38" x 80" frame. There are three (4) kinds of standard hospital beds that BMS rents we rent and sell to our clients;

Full Electric Hospital Bed

A standard full electric twin bed use foam or innerspring mattresses that fit on a 30" x 80" frame. The head, foot and bed raise and lower electrically.

Semi Electric Hospital Bed

A standard full electric twin bed use foam or innerspring mattresses that fit on a 30" x 80" frame. The head and foot raise and lower electrically. The bed raises and lowers mechanically with a crank.

Bariatric Full Electric Hospital Bed

A standard full electric twin Bariatric bed use foam or innerspring mattresses that fit on a 38" x 80" frame. The head, foot and bed raises and lowers electrically. These beds are designed to accommodate persons weighing more than 300 lb. up to 600 lb.

Long Term Care Hospital Bed

A long term care bed is primarily design to allow the staff or caregiver to operate the bed for patient who are incapable of doing it for themselves. Consequently the controls to operate the bed are conveniently located for ease of operation for the staff.

Luxury Hospital Beds

Luxury bed have all of the functionality that standard hospital beds have except a wider and longer upgraded mattress. Luxury beds are wider than standard hospitals beds. Luxury hospital beds can use temperpedic, visco, visco/innerspring or innerspring mattresses that fit a 38" x 80" frame on a twin bed and 58"x 84" for a full size bed. There are two (2) kinds of luxury full and semi electric beds brands BMS rents and sells to its clients;Golden Technologies and Flex-a-Bed.

Flex-a-Bed

Full Electric Bed

A luxury full electric twin hospital bed can use innerspring mattresses that fit on a 38" x 80" frame. The Flex-a-Bed Hi-Lo is the only luxury bed that offers a bed that the head, foot and bed raise and lower electrically.

Semi Electric Bed

The Flex-a-Bed Value Flex and Premier luxury beds are beds which only the head and foot of the bed raise and lower electrically.
